Dear all, first of all, thank you for the new revision of TOPCAT. It incorporates some quite nice new features, which I was thinking of before as nice-to-have without ever putting it onto the wishlist (like the possibility to select, whether to upload fuel or not). But, sorry, there is also something, I have to complain. When I try to upload weight and fuel data using FSUIPC, some weird things start to enroll...
1. I get an error message box, telling me, the DOW is not equal, allthough I saved a TOPCAT aircraf.cfg file first, which changed the "empty_weight" parameter from the original wilco value 2. I get an error message box, that the fuel quantity could not be set and I shall update it manually to the payload value 3. Inside FS I get an error message, that the payload value could not be set and I shall update it manually and 4. when I check the values in FS9, all parameters were set correctly
Any ideas, what's going on?
Thanks a lot and best regards Jochen

Hey Christian,
same with version 2.63 beta 1 on the Airsimmer Airbus. Hmm he's telling me exactly the same as described above.

I think the problem might be related to FS2004. Can you confirm your FSUIPC version and FS version, please?

Christian,
I am getting the same error when using PMDG aircraft. I reverted back to 2.61 and do not receive the error notice.
FS 9.1
FSUIPC 3.98
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Christian,
Like Jochen wrote in his first message about the DOW is not equal, I have exact the same with the PMDG MD-11 when sending to the aircraft in FS9. I didn't try it with FSX. Returning to version 2.61 I didn't get that message and all went good. I also didn't try the new beta version on both FS versions.

Sorry Christian,
Still getting an error message...but not the DOW error...just a "can't load payload, manually set payload to..." message.

It seems to be related to FSUIPC for FS2004. There is a lag in the update. We are just investigating...

Hi all !
I'm using FSX Acceleration on windows 7 64 bit, FSUIPC 4.6 registered and A320 Wilco Feelthere version d
The first issues I would like to report is that after I intalled TOPCAT 2.62/63 when I click on update the fuel and weight etc via the "send" button. I have the message saying could not update payload please to so manually.
I noticed that when I go to the aircraft edit section within TOPCAT and I browse my Wilco aircraft.cfg and save the setting, I got back and send the payload and fuel via "send" button and everything works correctly, but I noticed that my payload within TOPCAT was zero KGS, when I updated the payload with let say a total of 15150KGS and I sent the payload via the "send" button, I hade the message saying that I have to do so manually !
The second issue is that with TOPCAT 61 version I use to have a reasonable value of trim for my A320 on takoof like for example UP2.1 now with version 62/63 I only have DN0.6 0.5 etc... and when I try this setting on takeoff I'm having really hard time pulling my nose up !
That's all for now
Maio out

There seems to be some trouble with checking the payload updates in Fs2004, altought the updates themselves work as they should.
The newest version will have an option to enable/disable the payload update check.
@maiochine: In the newest version I get trim values for Wilco A320 with normal loading from 1.0up to around 2.5up.

We will correct the values in the next TOPCAT version (v2.64). Thanks! Judith TOPCAT Team

Hi all, as I opened the thread, I may have (one of) the last words (but everyone may feel free to comment again, don't misunderstand me ). Thanks for your help and cooperation, the proposed solution sounds absolutly satisfying to me. So we may have the chance to chat a little in Oberschleißheim tomorrow, otherwise have a nice weekend at the conference. Best regards Jochen
